I had a very busy and stressful 2015 and was very slack in updating this blog. Sorry.

Part of my stress was due to seeking, then receiving DD’s diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and anxiety. I mean, I had a pretty good idea that those things were going on but to have it in black and white in a psychologist’s report was another thing.

After that, there was the “fun” of trying to see a paeditrician (only took 4 months to get in), psychologist sessions which were unsuccessful and very expensive, talk about NDIS application, and more.

All this was while dealing with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis with a complex chronic pain disorder on my part.

I saw your name this morning in my list of bookmarks and wondered how youe were.

That’ s a lot to have on your plate at the one time. Perhap, just perhaps you now have labels, you may find it easier to cope with when you know what is causingthe behaviour sometimes. I hope you can get good help and suggestions. I know that Aspergers no longer theoretically xists byt comes only under autism umbrella. My son is diagnosed Aspergers and we are pretty certain his son now 10 and perhaps his older sister too, are also Aspergers. He has always found psychologists much more useful than psychiatrists, for himself and now for his son.

If people offer help try to take it. Shopping, cleaning etc. i find that hard, but it does help.
